What We Believe

OUR DNA & DISTINCTIVES

1. The Word of God at the Center

  1. Expositional Sermons
We preach verse-by-verse from Scripture so that the main point of the text is the main point of the sermon.

  2. Biblical Theology
We read and teach the Bible as one unified story of God’s redeeming work in Christ, from Genesis to Revelation.

  3. Word-Centered Corporate Worship Gatherings
Our services are shaped by Scripture through singing, praying, reading, preaching, and responding to God’s Word.

  4. Corporate Scripture Readings & Prayers
As a church family, we regularly read the Bible aloud and pray together, expressing our dependence on God.

2. The Gospel of Grace

  1. Reformed Soteriology
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.

  2. Believer’s Baptism & The Lord’s Supper
We baptize professing believers and regularly observe the Lord’s Supper as Christ’s ordained signs of the new covenant.

  3. Cheerful & Generous Giving
We give joyfully, sacrificially, and regularly as an act of worship and trust in God’s gracious provision.

3. Biblical Church Leadership & Congregational Life Together

  1. Biblically Qualified Elders and Deacons
We affirm the New Testament pattern of biblically qualified elders leading and deacons serving the church.

  2. Elder-Led, Congregational
Elders lead and shepherd, while the congregation holds final responsibility in key matters of doctrine, membership, and discipline.

  3. Membership & Church Discipline
We practice (formal) meaningful membership and loving, restorative discipline for the good of the believer, the church, and Christ’s witness.

  4. Complementarian Role of Men and Women
We affirm the equal dignity of men and women and embrace distinct, complementary roles in the home and the church, according to Scripture.

4. Mission: Making Disciples of All Nations

  1. Evangelism & Discipleship
We proclaim the gospel and walk together in intentional, relational discipleship so that believers grow in Christlikeness.

  2. Multiplication through Church Planting
We seek to send and support new gospel-preaching churches.
