Elders (i.e., Pastors or Overseers) provide spiritual oversight, shepherding, care, and teaching for the church. Their primary responsibilities are prayer and the ministry of the Word.

Josh Okpako
Allen is from the Philippines and moved to Dubai in 2014. After ten years in shipping and logistics, he served at Redeemer Church of Dubai as an elder and church-planting resident.
He holds an MA in Global Church Planting and Pastoral Ministry from Gulf Theological Seminary and is passionate about teaching the Bible and seeing God’s Word transform lives. He serves as Senior Pastor of Providence Church Dubai, teaches in the Foundations Year at Gulf Theological Seminary, and serves on the editorial board of Dew Arabia Magazine.
Allen and his wife, Vianne, have two children, Abraham and Trinity, and enjoy cycling together.
Josh is from Nigeria, moved to Dubai, and works as a software engineer. He's taught in Youth Ministry for many years and now serves as a lay elder at Providence Church Dubai.
Josh has received training from Simeon Trust and has taken Pastoral Ministry classes at Gulf Theological Seminary.
He is passionate about teaching and discipleship, seeing unbelievers come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Josh is married to Haley Okpako, and he loves Filipino food.

Ministry Staff

Director for Women's Ministry
Haley Okpako
Haley is from the US and moved to Dubai in 2018. She served for several years as the Youth Coordinator at Redeemer Church of Dubai and now serves as the Director of Women’s Ministry at Providence Church Dubai.
She holds a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Gulf Theological Seminary and is pursuing an MA.
Haley is married to Josh Okpako and loves Mangalore buns and pumpkin spice lattes.
